RICOTTA CHEESE MEAT LOAF

Ingredients

  • 3 EGGS
  • 2 LBS GROUND BEEF
  • 1 CUP DRIED + CRUMBLED BREAD
  • 7/2 CUP PARMESIAN CHEESE
  • 1/4 CUP CHOPPED ONION
  • 1 TSP PARSLY FLAKES
  • 2 TSP BASLE LEAVES
  • 1/3 TSP SALT
  • 1/2 TSP PEPPER
  • 1 CLOVE MINCED GARLIC
  • 1/2 RICOTTA CHEESE
  • 1/8 OZ CAN OF TOMATO SAUCE

Directions

  1. LIGHTLY BEAT EGGS IN A LARGE MIXING BOWL

  2. ADD GROUND BEEF, BREAD CRUMBS, PARMESIAN CHEESE, CHOPPED ONIONS, PARSLEY, 1 1/2 TSP BASIL, MINCED GARLIC, 1/2 TSP OF SALT, AND 1/4 TSP OF PEPPER. MIX WELL.

  3. SPREAD 1/2 OF THE MIX INTO A 9X5X3 INCH LOAF PAN.

  4. STIR TOGETHER 1 EGG RICOTTA CHEESE, 1/2 TSP SALT, 1/4 TSP OF PEPPER.

  5. MIX WELL AND SPREAD OVER THE MEAT.

  6. TOP WITH THE REMAINING MEAT MIXTURE COVERING THE CHEESE.

  7. POUR TOMATO SAUCE.

  8. BAKE AT 350 FOR 1 HOUR OR UNTILL DONE.
