Pie Crust

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 c ww pastry flour
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1 T sugar
  • 12 T cold butter cut into small pieces
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/2 t vinegar
  • 5-6 T ice water

Directions

  1. Mix fours, salt and sugar.

  2. Cut butter in by hand.

  3. Mix egg yolk, vinegar with 1/4 c ice water.

  4. Add the last one or two T of water if needed.

  5. Wrap in plastic and refrigerate for 30 min.

  6. Can be frozen for up to a month.
