Hershy’s Mini Kiss Peanut Blossoms

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 10 ounces Hershy's mini kisses

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375

  2. In large bowl, beat shortening and peanut butter until well blended

  3. Add 1/3 cup granulated sugar and brown sugar

  4. Beat until light and fluffy

  5. Add egg, milk and vanilla and beat well

  6. Stir together dry ingredients and gradually add peanut butter mixture

  7. Shape dough into 1 inch balls

  8. Roll in granulated sugar

  9. Place on ungreased cookie sheet

  10. Bake 8-10 minutes until lightly browned

  11. Immediately place 3 chocolate pieces on top of each cookie, pressing down slightly

  12. Remove to wire rack

  13. Cool completely
