No-crap rice crispie.

This recipe allowes for so much variations! I usually add coco powder to make them chocolate, or nuts for extra crunch, or dried berries, or coconut oil for a nice coconutty fragrance. Ofr course you can use any other puffed cereal – amaranth, wheat, millet, just don’t use anything with sugar, one ingredient packages work the best for this recipe. Experiment with different nut butters.

You can also not mess with forming balls but just put everything in plastic and form it into a log and refrigerate and then slice. Or pat it all into a big shallow dish and then cut off little cubes.

Serves 6 people

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. honey
  • 1/2 c. powdered milk
  • 1/2 c. peanut butter
  • 1 t. vanilla
  • ...4 c. puffed brown rice

Directions

  1. Heat honey until thin, do NOT boil.

  2. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well.

  3. Form into balls.

  4. Allow to cool.
