Spicy Spinach and Artichoke Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 10 oz frozen chopped spinach
  • 14 ounces artichoke hearts, chopped
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded and divided
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, divided
  • 2 tablespoonsTabasco sauce
  • salt
  • corn chips or crackers

Directions

  1. Melt butter in large saucepan or skillet over medium heat

  2. Add onion and cook until soft

  3. Stir in spinach, artichokes, cream cheese, sour cream, 3/4 cup Monterey Jack, 3/4 cup Parmesan, Tabasco and salt

  4. Stir until well blended and heated through

  5. Pour mixture into 1/2 quart casserole dish and top with remaining cheeses.

  6. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven until cheese begins to melt
