Ingredients

  • 1300 grams of potatoes
  • 150 grams Romano cheese, grated
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1 small onion, minced
  • bread crumbs
  • salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Boil potatoes whole in salted water

  2. Peel and mash

  3. Add egg yolks, onion, parsley, cheese, pepper and salt

  4. Form balls

  5. Beat egg whites slightly with 2 tablespoons water

  6. Dip into egg whites

  7. Roll in bread crumbs

  8. Fry in hot oil
