French Silk Frosting

(from giuntafamily’s recipe box)

use with Gigi’s Brownies (use 1/4th of this recipe); makes enough to ice a two 9-inch layer cake with a whole batch

Ingredients

  • 2 2/3 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 2/3 cup soft butter
  • 2 ounces melted unsweetened chocolate (cool)
  • 3/4 tsp vanilla
  • 2 TBSP milk

Directions

  1. In small mixer bowl, blend sugar, butter, chocolate and vanilla on low speed.

  2. Gradually add milk.

  3. Beat til smooth & fluffy.
