Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 2 slices bread, soaked in water and squeezed
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons oregano
  • 2 teaspoons mint
  • 2 teaspoons parsley
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • dash of milk
  • dash of lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons Romano cheese
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup oil

Directions

  1. Combine all of the ingredients, except for the flour and oil

  2. Mix well and let sit in refrigerator for flavors to mingle

  3. Roll into balls and roll in flour

  4. Cover bottom of frying pan with oil and when oil is hot, place meatballs in pan and brown, turning once.

  5. Can also be made in the oven
