Sausagemeat Hotpot

Ingredients

  • 1lb sausagemeat
  • 2 tsp mixed herbs
  • 2 oz streaky bacon chopped
  • 2 toms sliced
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 cooking apple, peeled, cored and sliced
  • 4 oz cheddar cheese
  • mashed potatoes

Directions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 180c

  2. Press sausagemeat onto base of a pie dish and sprinkle with herbs.

  3. Gently fry bacon in its own fat until golden. Place in dish.

  4. Add tomato slices, salt, pepper and apple. Sprinkle with cheese.

  5. Top with mashed potato and bake for 1 hour.
