Pizza Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 c water, very warm
  • 1 envelope dry active yeast
  • 1 T sugar
  • 2 1/2 c all-purpose flour
  • 1 t salt
  • 1/3 c pizza sauce (filling)
  • 1 pkg mozzarella cheese, shredded (filling)

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, combine water, yeast and sugar.

  2. Whisk together and then let stand for 5 minutes.

  3. In a large bowl, combine flour and salt.

  4. After 5 minutes, mix liquids into the flour.

  5. Knead for about 5 minuets.

  6. Place dough in a greased bowl and cover for 30 minutes.

  7. Roll out dough into a rectangle.

  8. Spread with sauce and sprinkle with cheese.

  9. Then roll the dough and cut into 1-in rolls.

  10. Bake at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
