Cherry Mash Candy

Ingredients

  • 2 boxes Betty Crocker dry frosting mix
  • 1 1/2 boxes powdered sugar
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 1 can Eagle brand milk, sweetened condensed
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 jar Marischino cherries, drained and chopped (reserve liquid)
  • 2-12 ounces bags milk chocolate chips
  • 2-12 ounce bags semi-sweet chocolate
  • 2 tablespoons parafin wax
  • 4 cans spanish peanuts, chopped

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients up to and including cherries.

  2. Add a little cherry juice for color.

  3. Pour mixture into a well greased 9 × 13 pan and freeze.

  4. Melt chocolates in a double boiler.

  5. Add peanuts.

  6. Pour on top of frozen cherry mix.

  7. Refreeze.
