Chocolate Pudding Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. Betty Crocker SuperMoist chocolate fudge cake mix
  • 1 1/3 cups water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 pkg. (4-serving size) milk chocolate instant pudding and pie filling
  • 2 cups cold milk

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease bottom only of rectangular pan, 13×9×2 inches. Make cake as directed on package, using water, oil and eggs. Pour into pan.

  2. Bake 33 to 38 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool for about 1 hour.

  3. Poke cake every 1/2 inch wit a handle of a wooden spoon. Beat pudding mix and milk in a bowl with wire whisk about 2 minutes. Pour pudding evenly over cake. Run knife along the pan to loosen cake. Refrigerate about 2 hours or until chilled. Store loosely covered in refrigerator.
