Wine Cake

(from mbrezdoty’s recipe box)

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
  • 1 pkg. small vanilla instant pudding
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup Sherry wine
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Directions

  1. Grease Bundt pan. Sprinkle pecans on bottom of pan.

  2. Mix together all the ingredients for 2 minutes. Bake at 325 degrees for 60 minutes or until cake springs back.

  3. Cool 15 minutes. Take cake out of pan and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
