Rum Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 yellow cake mix
  • 1 package instant vanilla pudding
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup light rum
  • 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cube butter
  • 1/2 cup Rum

Directions

  1. Mix together all but last five ingredients.

  2. Grease and flour bundt pan

  3. Put nuts in the bottom of the pan and pour mix over nuts

  4. Bake at 325 for 55 mins

  5. Melt butter, add water and sugar over medium heat and boil 5 minutes

  6. Remove from heat and add rum

  7. Prick cake with fork and pour glaze over cake
