Ingredients
- 1/4 cup margarine
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/2 cup and 2 teaspoons oatmeal
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
- Optional: raisins, chopped nuts, M&M’s
Directions

Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees.

Cream together the butter and sugar in a large bowl.

Stir in: peanut butter, egg, and vanilla.

In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda and oatmeal.

Gradually stir dry ingredients into the sugar mixture until well blended.

Add chips to cookie dough.

Drop dough by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Space evenly.

Bake at 325 degrees for 10-12 minutes.

Place on cooling rack to cool.
