Ingredients
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup pumpkin
- 1 egg
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmet
- 1/2 tsp cloves
- 1/2 tsp ginger
- 1 cup nuts
- 1 cup butterscotch chips

In mixing bowl combine shortening, sugar, pumpkin, and egg. Combine dry ingredients; add and stir until smooth. Stir in nuts and chips Drop by spoonfuls on greased baking sheet. Bake at 375 for 10 to 12 minutes
