Mushroom Turkey Burgers

Serves 4 people

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey (I use Louis Rich)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon onion salt
  • pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter or 1 tablespoon margarine
  • 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 4 hamburger buns

Directions

  1. Mix turkey, parsley, Worcestershire sauce and onion salt and pepper in large bowl.

  2. Shape turkey mixture into 4 patties; set aside.

  3. Melt butter in large skillet on medium heat.

  4. Add mushrooms; cook and stir 2-3 minutes or until tender.

  5. Remove mushrooms; cover to keep warm.

  6. Add patties to skillet; cook on medium heat 12-14 minutes or until done, turning occasionally.

  7. Place patty on bottom bun; add mushrooms on top of patty; add top bun.

  8. **We lightly butter and toast our hamburger buns.
