Homemade Salsa

Serves 8 people

Ingredients

  • 3 large ripe tomatoes, diced or one 14.5 oz. can diced tomatoes, with juice
  • 1 small yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 1 small green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 small fresh jalapeno pepper, seeds and veins removed and minced
  • 1 4oz. can chopped green chilies, with juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 T. red wine vinegar
  • 1 T. olive oil

Directions

  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a medium glass bowl.

  2. Stir well with a spoon.

  3. Cover with plastic wrap and chill until serving time

  4. Serve with corn chips
