No Fuss Lasagna

Serves 12 people

Ingredients

  • 4 cups low fat marinara sauce
  • 2 cups low-fat ricotta
  • 1 cup low-fat small-curd cottage cheese
  • 1/4 cup minced parsley
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 4 ounces shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
  • 12 ounces uncooked lasagna noodles
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan

Directions

  1. Mix ricotta, cottage cheese, parsley, garlic.

  2. Add 1 cup marinara sauce to 9 × 13 inch dish.

  3. Arrange 1/3 noodles so they touch, but do not overlap.

  4. Spread 1/2 ricotta mix over noodles.

  5. Top with 1/2 mozzarella.

  6. Top with 1 cup sauce, 1/3 noodles, remaining ricotta mix, mozzarella.

  7. Add another cup of sauce, remaining noodles, remaining sauce.

  8. Sprinkle with Parmesan.

  9. Cover with foil

  10. Refrigerate 6 hours.

  11. Bake at 350 for 1 hour 15 minutes.
