Pretzels

Cook time: 10 minutes
Serves 12 people

Ingredients

  • 1 1./4 tsp Dry Yeast
  • 3/4 cup Warm Water
  • 1 1/2 cups Flour
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Directions

  1. Dissolve yeast in water

  2. Sift dry ingredients together

  3. gradually add flour mixture to the liquid mixture

  4. Work until dough is soft and firm but not sticky

  5. Knead until smooth and elastic

  6. Grease a medium size bowl, place dough in bowl and cover with plastic wrap

  7. Refrigerate overnite

  8. Preheat oven to 425

  9. divide dough into 12 pieces

  10. Roll each piece into rope about 1 ft long

  11. Loop each rope into pretzel shape and place onto baking sheet

  12. brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with seasoning
