Pasta Carbonara

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound bacon, diced
  • 4 eggs, room temperature
  • 1/4 cup half-and-half, room temperature
  • 1 cup grated parmesan
  • 16 ounces pasta
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • ground black pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Cook bacon until crisp, drain on paper towels.

  2. In a bowl, beat together eggs and half-and-half, then stir in parmesan.

  3. Cook pasta, drain and return to pan. Toss with butter, then add bacon and cheese mixture and toss gently until mixed.
