chicken and rice, easy

(from mrswarnick’s recipe box)

Ingredients

  • 1 10 oz pk saffron yellow spanish rice
  • 1 10 oz can premium chicken in water
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • onions, optional
  • cheese, optional

Directions

  1. cook rice as directed; only simmer 15 min

  2. drain water from chicken

  3. combine soup and chicken

  4. add rice to chicken and soup

  5. add 1/2 cup milk (more/less depending on consistency)

  6. cook uncovered in casserole dish at 350 degrees for 20 minutes
