Easy Crescent Danish ROlls

Ingredients

  • 1 package (8 oz cream cheese) softened
  • 1/2 cup suar
  • 1 tab. Lemon juice
  • 2 cans ( 8 oz.) pillsbury refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • 4 teas. Smuckers jam or preserves
  • Glaze
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teas. Vanilla
  • 2 to 3 teas. Milk

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. In small bowl best cream cheese, sugar and lemon juice until smooth.

  3. Separate dough into 8 rectangles; firmly press

  4. Perforations to seal.

  5. Spread rectangle with about 2 tab. Cream cheese mixture.

  6. Roll up, starting with long side,firmly pinch edges and end to seal. Gently stretch to About 10 inches.

  7. On undressed coil each roll into a spiral with seam on the inside, tucking end under.

  8. Make deep indentation in center of each roll. Fill with 1/2 teas. Jam.

  9. Bake 20 to 25 mins. Or until golden brown. In small bowl mix glaze. Drizzle over warm rolls .
