Sticky Beef Hash

(from kitkat’s recipe box)

Source: Jamie Oliver (30-minute meals, season 2)

Categories: cooked, meat

Ingredients

  • 1 pack of minced meat
  • olive oil
  • fresh thyme
  • 3 carrots
  • 3 celery sticks (break and remove stringy bits)
  • 1 red onion
  • fresh rosemary
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • wosteshire sauce (6 tablespoons or less) - Braggs instead

Directions

  1. Put minced meat and olive oil in pan. Break meat apart with spoon. Add lots of pepper, salt, and fresh thyme. Cook for a handful of minutes. Let moisture cook away.

  2. Once meat is golden, add rosemary. Let it fry in all the juice.

  3. Add four cloves garlic (minced).

  4. Add wosteshire sauce. Cook sauce back to nothing. Leaves good flavor on meat.

  5. Put carrots, celery and onion in food processor with slicer attachment. Add veggies to meat. Won’t need much cooking. Mix it up. Give it a toss every couple of minutes.

  6. Serve with baked potatoes, with olive oil on top.
