Premium White Chocolate Macadamia Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 (18 1/4 ounce) package yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup butter , melted
  • 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup quick-cooking oat
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped macadamia nuts
  • 1 1/3 cups white chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°; position oven rack in middle of oven; set aside ungreased cookie sheets.

  2. In a large bowl add the cake mix, flour, melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.

  3. Blend with an electric mixer set on med-high speed 1-2 minutes, until blended and smooth.

  4. Stir in the oats, nuts, and white chocolate chips with a wooden spoon until all dry ingredients are moistened.

  5. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls, 2 inches apart, onto cookie sheets.

  6. Bake 10-13 minutes, until golden at edges and just barely set at center when lightly touched.

  7. Cool 1 minute on sheets; transfer to wire racks with metal spatula and cool completely.
