Brown Sugar Pound Cake

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 1/3 cups light brown sugar
  • 3 sticks of butter
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 3 cups flour
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Directions

  1. Cream butter and sugars.

  2. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.

  3. Add vanilla.

  4. Sift dry ingredients together in a seperate bowl.

  5. Add to creamed mixture alternatively with milk and mix well.

  6. Grease and flour large tube pan. Pour batter into pan.

  7. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
