Baptist Pot Roast

Serves 6 people

Ingredients

  • 3 - 4 lb. chuck roast
  • 1 bag of baby carrots
  • 2 sweet onions, cut into chunks
  • 6 white or red potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
  • Worceshire Sauce
  • 1/2 package of Lipton French Onion Soup Mix
  • 1 cup of water
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Garlic powder

Directions

  1. Brown meat on both sides. Place in pan. Add vegetables. Sprinkle meat with Seasonings and water.

  2. Cook covered in oven at 300 degrees for at least 3 hours.
