Kraft Mac & Cheese Lasagna

The kids LOVE this! Easier to make a “light” version than traditional lasagna.

Prep time: 20 minutes
Cook time: 30 minutes
Serves 8 people

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg (7 1/4 oz) Kraft Mac & Cheese - White Cheddar
  • 1 lg can spaghetti sauce
  • 1 lb ground beef, cooked
  • 2 cups shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 2 Tbls grated Parmesan Cheese

Directions

  1. Cook ground beef. Drain. Add spaghetti sauce.

  2. Prepare mac & cheese dinner using the “lite prep” directions on package. UNDERCOOK the pasta – cook for no more than 5 minutes.

  3. Add cottage cheese to mac & cheese mixture.

  4. Spoon half the mac & cheese into a greased 9×11 baking dish. Top with layers of 1/2 each – meat and shredded cheese. Repeat layers ending with the shredded cheese. Sprinkle with the Parmesean Cheese.

  5. Bake uncovered @ 350 degrees for approx. 30 minutes.
