Bev’s Dinner Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c sugar
  • 3 1/2 c warm water
  • 6 pkg dry yeast
  • 1 c pwd milk
  • 9 – 12 c flour
  • 3 Tbs Crisco (melted in microwave)
  • 1 Tbs salt

Directions

  1. Dissolve sugar & water. Add yeast & wait for it to foam. Then add milk. Add salt & Crisco. Add flour 4c at a time. When dough gets too thick to stir with a wooden spoon start kneading adding flour as you go until not sticky but smooth like a baby’s behind. Let rise until doubled. Oven 375 – 400F Bake till golden brown (depends on your oven).
