Ingredients
- 3/4 cup solid Crisco shortening
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 1/2 cups of quick cook oats
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Beat together Crisco, sugars, egg, water and vanilla until creamy.

Add rest of ingredients and mix well.

Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
