Churros

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions

  1. Combin water, butter, sugar and salt in a saucepan.

  2. Bring to a boil.

  3. Remove from heat and stir in flour.

  4. Beat with wooden spoon until douogh forms a ball and begins to leave sides of pan.

  5. With electric mixer beat in eggs, on at a time, until mixture is smooth.

  6. Spoon into pastry bag.

  7. Pipe onto baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  8. Freeze for 20 minutes.

  9. Fry for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.

  10. Toss in bag filled with 4 tablespoons sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
