Moms Ham and Potatoes

Excellent and fairly easy to make

Prep time: 30 minutes
Cook time: 60 minutes
Serves 4 people

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. cut up cooked ham
  • 3 lbs. red potatoes-peeled & cut thin
  • White Sauce-2 cups milk, 2 cups chicken stock, 1 stick butter, 1 onion, salt & pepper
  • 1/4 c. flour

Directions

  1. Heat butter & onions until butter is melted in 2 qt. heavy pan.

  2. Add milk, chicken stock, flour & salt and papper

  3. Heat until just before boiling and thickened.

  4. Put layers of ham and then potatoes in round 2 qt. oven dish, and pour white sauce over the layers.

  5. Cook at 350ยบ for one hour until browned.

  6. Let sit for 5 minutes before using.

  7. Enjoy.
