Sensational Stuffed Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 30 large fresh mushrooms
  • 1/2 lb bulk pork sausage
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese , softened
  • 1 cup dried tart cherry , chopped
  • 2 green onions , chopped

Directions

  1. Remove stems from mushrooms; set caps aside.

  2. In a large skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until no longer pink; drain.

  3. Remove from the heat; stir in cream cheese, cherries, and onions.

  4. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.

  5. Stuff filling into mushroom caps.

  6. Place on greased baking sheets; bake at 425° for 8-10 minutes or until mushrooms are tender.
