Homemade Almond Joy

Serves 12 people

Ingredients

  • 2 cups unsweetened coconut
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 12 whole almonds
  • 6 ounces melted dark chocolate
  • 1 Tablespoon virgin coconut oil

Directions

  1. Place coconut and syrup in food processor, process for 2 minutes.

  2. Take mixture and shape into 12 ovals.

  3. Place almonds on top of ovals.

  4. Whisk together the chocolate and coconut oil until smooth.

  5. Pour chocolate over ovals.

  6. Let harden in fridge for 10 minutes.

  7. Makes 12, last for 4 days in fridge.
