Cabbage Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 medium head cabbage, shredded
  • 4 large onions, chopped
  • 1 red pepper, chopped
  • 2- 4 zucchinis, chopped
  • 1 lb carrots, sliced or chopped
  • 3 handfuls string beans, cut
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped
  • 6 tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 - 3 tbsp onion soup mix
  • salt
  • pepper

Directions

  1. In large pot, put small amount of water. Add the onions and put on low flame, covered.

  2. Add cabbage as it is shredded.

  3. Then continue to add all ingredients as they are prepared.

  4. Add onion soup mix.

  5. Add water to cover and then a little more.

  6. Bring to boil. Lower to simmer and let simmer until all vegetables are soft and to your taste.
