Artichoke Heart Dip

Ingredients

  • 2 large loaf pumpernickel
  • 1/4 stick butter
  • 1 bunch green onions
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 8 oz cream cheee
  • 16 oz sour cream
  • 12 oz grated cheddar
  • 1 (14 oz) can artichokes

Directions

  1. t 5" whole across top and remove soft bread. Save the top. In 1/4 stick of butter, sauté onion and garlic until they wilt. Cut cream cheese into small chunks and put in bowl and add onions, garlic, sour cream and cheddar. Mix well and fold in artichoke hearts. Put mixture into bread and put top on. Wrap in double thickness of aluminum foil. Bake 1 1/2-2 hour at 350. You can use cubed middle of bread to dip along with cracker or veggies.
