Pecan Chocolate Pie

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups pecans
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 3/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup bittersweet chocolate chips
  • 4 tbsp. melted buttter
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • one prepared pie crust

Directions

  1. a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, corn syrup, brown sugar, cinnamon, melted butter and salt. Stir inthe chocolate chips and pecans. Sppoin the mixture in the prepared pie crust. Bake for 20 minutes at 350. Ciover the foil and bake until filling is puffed and the center is just set, 15-20 minutes. Transfer the pie to a wire rack and let cool to room temperature.
