Fudge Brownie Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 20-oz. box fudge brownie mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 3 1/2-oz. box instant chocolate pudding
  • 1 8-oz. container frozen whipped topping, thawed

Directions

  1. Prepare brownie mix as directed on package. Bake in a greased 9" pie plate for 40 minutes or until done according to package directions. Cool completely on wire rack.

  2. Scoop out center of brownie, using a spoon, leaving a 1" crust around edge and a thin layer or brownie on bottom; reserve brownie scraps.

  3. Pour milk into a medium bowl. Add pudding mix. Beat with wire whisk until blended. Gently stir in half of the whipped topping and all but 1/4 cup reserved brownie scraps. Spoon into center for crust. Top with remaining whipped topping and reserved 1/4 brownie scraps.

  4. *Can double and make in a 9×13 pan.
