Icing

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 1/2 Tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup oleo
  • 1/4 cup Crisco
  • 1 teaspoon flavoring (vanilla, almond, etc.)
  • 2 or 3 squares chocolate, melted

Directions

  1. Mix milk and flour until free of lumps. Boil slowly until thick and cool off.

  2. Beat sugar, oleo, and Crisco until fluffy.

  3. Combing both mixtures, and add 1 teaspoon of flavoring.

  4. Optional: add 2 or 3 squares of chocolate, melted, to frosting and mix.
