Strawberry Brunch Loaf

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups of flour
  • 1 Tbsp. Baking powder
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 2 tsp. Grated lemon peel
  • 1/2 tsp. Nutmeg
  • 2 Eggs beaten
  • 1/4 Cup oil
  • 1 1/2 Cups of chooped fresh or frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 Cup of shaved almonds
  • 1/2 Cup of honey

Directions

  1. Stir together dry ingredients

  2. Combine eggs, honey and oil

  3. Stir in strawberries and almonds

  4. Add liquid and dry all at once

  5. Stir until flower is moistened

  6. Bake in 9×5 in loaf pan greased at 350 degrees
