Guacamole

Ingredients

  • 5 avocados, ripe
  • 2 Tbsp red onion, finely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp lime juice, fresh
  • 1/2 jalopeno, medium, seeded and chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, pressed
  • 3/4 tsp salt

Directions

  1. Cut avocados in half. Scoop pulp into a bowl, and mash with a fork until slightly chunky. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover with plastic, allowing wrap to touch mixture, and let stand at room temperature 30 minutes.

  2. (Can also add chopped cilantro and a little more lime juice.)
