Pie Crust

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, cut into pieces
  • 1/2 cup milk or water, very cold

Directions

  1. Combine flour and salt. Add butter and cut in until the mixture resembles very course meal. Pour in the milk. Combine just until the dough holds together in a ball.

  2. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill for at least 15 minutes. If the dough has been refrigerated, let sit out 15 minutes before rolling.

  3. Roll into circle to fit the pie plate.
