Meringue Cookies

Ingredients

  • 5 egg whites
  • 2-1/3 powdered sugar
  • 1/4 tsp cream of tartar

Directions

  1. Beat egg whites in mixer on low to medium with a pinch of salt till frothy. Add sugar and cream of tartar; beat on high till fluffy, about 10 minutes.

  2. Can make 6 giant circles (or more small ones). Can put coconut on top if desired.

  3. Cook at lowest oven heat, not even closing oven completely for about 2-3 hours.
