Plum Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 large cup SR flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 170g butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 well beaten eggs
  • Fresh Satsuma plums

Directions

  1. Sift flour, add sugar, beaten egg and milk and mix as batter – lastly add melted butter.

  2. It will be quite elastic in texture.

  3. Spread into tin and place halved plums stone side up in intervals.

  4. Sprinkle fruit with sugar and bake in moderate oven (180) for 30 minutes.
