Egg Cheese McMuffins

Serves 12 people

Ingredients

  • English muffins
  • Large eggs
  • Cheddar Cheese
  • Butter or olive oil (optional)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Use oil or spray on muffin tin, and crack egg in each muffin

  2. Bake for 15-20 minutes, make sure eggs are cooked through

  3. Toast English muffins (for added flavor, add butter to English muffins)

  4. Assemble sandwiches

  5. Place back in oven for 5 to 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted

  6. If freezing, put sandwiches on baking sheet and put in freezer, UNCOVERED and UNWRAPPED. Leave them in for an hour.

  7. After an hour, remove and wrap sandwiches individually in foil or plastic wrap and store in freezer-safe plastic bag. Sandwiches will keep for a few weeks.

  8. To reheat frozen sandwiches, put them in 350 degree oven for 25 minutes (assuming they’re going from frozen to oven). Use microwave only if you have to!
