Southwest Appetizer

Ingredients

  • 16 oz. Creme Cheese
  • 2 Cups Shredded Sharp Cheese
  • 2 Cups Sour Creme
  • 1 1/2 pkgs. Taco Seasoning
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 can chopped green chiles
  • Topping:
  • Chopped tomatoes
  • Green onions
  • Cilantro (optional)
  • Lime Juice
  • Chopped black olives

Directions

  1. Beat creme cheese & cheddar cheese til fluffy.

  2. Stir in 1 cup of sour creme & taco seasoning.

  3. Beat in eggs, one at a time.

  4. Fold in chiles.

  5. Pour into 9 inch spring-form pan.

  6. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes or until center is firm.

  7. Remove from oven and cool 10 minutes.

  8. Spoon remaining cup of Sour Creme on top and return to oven for 5 minutes.

  9. Remove & cool on wire rack for 1 hour.

  10. Cover with foil & refrigerate.

  11. Add toppings right before serving.
