Sugar puff trees

Makes about 16-20 small trees

Ingredients

  • 375g pack ready rolled puff pastry
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar

Directions

  1. eheat the oven to 220˚C/fan 200˚C/gas 7.

  2. Unroll the puff pastry sheet, lightly brush all over with water and sprinkle with the sugar. Using a Christmas tree cutter, cut out Christmas tree shapes. Put on a baking sheet, leaving space between each tree. Bake for 10-12 minutes until risen and golden. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with a little more sugar, if liked. Serve with whipped cream and jam.
