Gingino

I like this nonalcoholic: fizzy, refreshing, delicate ginger and lime flavor, pretty to look at, and not too sweet. It’s supposed to have 12 oz. Campari “or other amaro,” but bleargh to that.

Serves 6 people

Ingredients

  • 2 12-oz bottles ginger beer
  • 12 oz. sparkling water
  • 1-4 tablespoons simple syrup, to taste, optional (can use bit of sugar instead)
  • 6 lime wedges, for garnish
  • 6 slices crystallized ginger, for garnish

Directions

  1. In a pitcher, combine ginger beer and sparkling water. Stir. Sweeten if desired.

  2. Fill 6 tall glasses with ice. Pour drink mixture into each and garnish with wedge of lime and slice of ginger. Serve.
