Hot Fudge Pudding Cake

This is cake is moist, chocolatey, and dripping with delicious chocolate pudding.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa
  • 2 tablespoons butter or oil
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups boiling water

Directions

  1. Combine the flour, ¾ cup sugar, baking powder, salt, and 2 tablespoons cocoa.

  2. Mix in the oil or butter (melted), milk, and vanilla. Stir until combined. Pour into a greased 9×9 pan.

  3. Mix together the brown sugar, white sugar, and cocoa. Sprinkle over cake.

  4. Pour the boiling water over top. Bake at 350 F for 1 hour. Serve warm or cool.
