Naranjilla Tea Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1-1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/3 cup naranjilla puree

Directions

  1. Cream butter and sugar together.

  2. Beat in the egg, then the naranjilla puree.

  3. Stir in the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, and vanilla.

  4. Form small cookies (should make 30 or so). Press down, making a criss-cross pattern on top with a fork.

  5. Bake until golden.
